Because 335 points won't help this teams scoring issues?
-
I really wish Holmer would have scored a hat trick tonight
-
Because Wings wouldn't have turned it around? They were doomed since day one? Wings missing 335 points due to injuries has nothing to do with it, right? Cool story, bro.

Wikipedia? Lol are you serious? You're trying to pass off the source that had Osgood's name as "Osbad" edited in it at one point. Some of you are really stretching it Oh wait, maybe my sarcasm meter isn't working. Are you being sarcastic? Okay, now I see what you did there Lol... You just edited it to be a funny guy. Very clever! Lol.

I agree everyone (including his team mates) calls him "Holmer" because that is his name HOLMstrom. Your one source was a marketing strategy 'Homer of the home games for the holidays'. Other than that, even your source that you provided, calls him "Holmer". So hopefully if you ever meet Holmer, you call him by his correct nickname so he doesn't look at you with a 'WTF' look on his face. That would be funny though
-
I agree. year to year basis is what I am hoping for. Hopefully for under $2 million per year.
-
Yes exclusively for LGWs. It's "Holmer" if you're his teammate, as already proven.
-
So easy that it contracts your own source? So the sources that I used by mlive that his teammates call him ""Holmer" are incorrect. Yet the beat writers you provided spells "Homer" are correct? His teammates call him 'Holmer' because "Holmer" is how his is spelled i.e. "HOLMstrom" not "HOMstrom". I do get the marketing strategy for "Homer for the Holidays" thought. It's clever because Homer is for home games.
-
No, it's a 'pun'. It's for marketing. "Homer" for "Home" games (pun intended). It's a marketing strategy. His team mates call him "Holmer" that's why I spell it this way.
-
So the source that you provided only works in your favor and not anyone else when it proves to clash with your claims. Gotcha
-
Even the source she provided from Wings organization was spelled "Holmer". See my last post.
-
Even your source (from the website that you provided) calls him "Holmer". Maybe there is no "right" way to spell his nick name. But I proved that his team mates, mlive, yahoo sports and even the website you used to back up your claim calls him "Holmer"

"I'm still learning," Kopecky said. "I like it there because there's always a lot of pucks lying around. I had a chance to learn from Holmer in Detroit and I think he's the best in the league at what he does. It's all about timing and positioning." Source: http://blog.mlive.com/snapshots/2009/11/fr...ings_misce.html Yahoo Sports: Thursday's three stars: Holmer, Marty ... Marty, Holmer

Tomatos, Tomatoes How much is he going to resign for?
-
It's "Holmer" according to mlive and yahoo and his team mates. FYI "Homer" must be an exclusive LGW's thing.
-
True but he plays for the Capitals. If anybody can shape him up to be a better overall defensive players, it's the Detroit Red Wings system and training.
-
Sorry, but stupid people rattle me sometimes. I probably shouldn't have responded to his ignorant post. That's something I need to work on in life, I need to learn how to ignore stupid people and human ignorance. I'll just have to not reply, and not allow myself to get sucked in.

Drunk driving isn't serious?
-
Yes I am serious. I always thought people get smarter with age. Fedorov was probably the only dips*** that didn't surprise me for drinking and driving... he was younger and caught up with a 'super star' attitude.
-
After he won the cup with the Ducks, he brought it here to Big Rapids. He was at the ice rink with it and was also partying at the Gate with it. It was bitter/sweet. But it was cool he brought it here and celebrated here in Big Rapids.
-
I thought Chelios was smarter than this.

You're going to have to wait 5 life times to see a 'good' replacement for Lids. He's irreplaceable. We'll never see anyone in our lifetime that could even compare within even the slightest fraction of an amount.

& Laraque suspended five games for hit on Kronwall "The NHL said Laraque, who was assessed a minor penalty for tripping on the play, deliberately extended his knee and, through his actions, caused an injury to Kronwall." E'nuff said.

Red Wings' Johan Franzen skates with team for first time
Miller Brew replied to 40#1Fan's topic in General
Pretty sure I read a report a few weeks ago that Franzen was skating with the team... Even though he didn't get 'permission' from the doctors. -
Ummm, okay :freak: You should seriously think about, in the very least, subscribing to NHL Center Ice so you can atleast sound somewhat intelligent about hockey.
