I am not saying he has been a great GM but you say the team has sucked since 2010 is false. We haven't been very good for the past 3 years. NHL is a business first, if Illitch wanted the Wings in the playoffs to generate revenue, then Holland fulfilled most of his duties. We as fans don't understand the business side and just overlook it.

Perhaps after 2013 we had "one" decent playoff run. Before that we were fine. 2011 -Lost to SJ in WCF game 7. 2012 - Lost to Preds in WQF game 5 2013 - Lost to Chicago WCF game 7 God we were so spoiled, thus some of our fans don't know we can't win every year.

I am indifferent, we shouldn't always assume newer is better. (See Blashill).

Who else should Holland have traded? Also hindsight is 20/20, 5 years ago (2012) was the year we beat Anaheim and almost (should have) taken out Chicago.

1. Jarnkrok last two seasons - 81GP and 72GP 2. Nowhere anywhere did I post Jurco is a waste of life. My comment was based on your opinion of how the Wings are going to regret the deal like you say every time they lose a prospect. Sorry but I don't take your opinion very seriously based on your post history. Yea I did it to suit my argument. No honest mistake here. -

Hindsight my friend. Last year when Sheahan had 25 points and Jarnkrok had 22 points. Or the year before that when Sheahan had 36 points and Jarnkrok had 30 points. Not to mention Sheahan is better defensively than Jarnkrok. -
