Well, I am now 1-3 at the ACC! Wings were good tonight. Oh and this guy was pretty good.

At the game few things stood out that period. Smith is playing really good right now. Franzen almost never back checks, he looks out of shape. zetterberg looks frustrated with his skating. He just can't seem to get it going. Our PP is absolutely terrible. We need to make some changes immediately. Me too, I love the guy and think he's fantastic. However, with Boston being in our division I highly doubt they wanted him anywhere near them especially on the Wings.

I disagree with this statement and here's why. Both games we played against 2 top 10 teams in the NHL and we outplayed both of them, not to mention we haven't looked this good (small sample size) since 2009. We have a perfect blend of elite players, mixed with up and coming kids, and the 4th line is playing fantastic and causing havoc. Our D have been pinching in and making good plays, which hasn't been done since Rafalski, Lids, Kronner and Stuart days. We are fine, it's only 2 games into the season and I say that will full confidence. We aren't going 82-0.

Yea, you simply forgot we were missing Datsyuk and Zetteberg for over 45 games right? and were 2nd in man games lost last year, but yea, no big deal. amirite?

The thing that pissed me off the most about that play was the fact Ericsson just stood around and watched Getzlaf go straight to the net and didn't even try to block the lane.
