That's the defense I've been hoping to see. hopefully quincey and dekeyser can pick up their chemistry right where they left off. Tatar Larkin Pulk has so much potential it's silly but if they don't deliver at least chances right out the gates, I expect a lot of line shuffling. Also, hopefully the new lines will get nyq going. all in all, stoked for the game. LGW!!

and with the way they've been playing, that should be a pretty high second round pick things might not get better in Columbus but they'll certainly get more entertaining (I do think they need to not give teams picks if the coach hired somewhere else was fired by said team... kinda dumb)

I'm pretty sure when a player is on LTIR, their cap hit counts against the cap but that team is allowed to go over by that players cap hit for as long as they're on LTIR.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think sending him to grand rapids would save a year of his ELC..? I'm pretty sure that's only if a player goes back to junior within nine games or whatever. Could be wrong but either way, I think Larkin is here to stay.

Not sure where you're getting 2 from? Last I checked, the Montreal game was at 7..? Which I was stoked about because I'll be in Ann Arbor. So if it's at two I'll definitely miss it

Agreed. & points or not; as long as jurco skates hard and makes a positive difference out there, I'm happy with him.

i did say "closer" (mostly just based on how many guys will be pushing for spots in the next couple years).... and I meant closer to make it or break it for the wings.. not the NHL. but, point taken. solid assessment of where he's at. here's to hoping he takes the chance and runs with it.

I was also thinking of glendog's goals.. he may be on the fourth line but it's a fourth line with at least some goal scoring potential. I've been pretty against him on the fourth line but, at the same time, Jurco is getting closer and closer to make it or break it time. Play well on the fourth, points or not, and get moved up. Being a healthy scratch isn't doing him any favors

Looks like he could get a pretty lengthy suspension.... It's being reviewed for the same reasons as the hossa hit.
