Kindl finally proved himself this year. Imo, it was a make it or break it year for him and he made the most of it. I'm all for him now and he definitely deserves a raise.. hope he keeps it up. -

this is a really good point. If the offer sheet rules were a little less, RFAs would make more and probably demand a little less once they hit UFA status.... some may be trying to make up for their lower RFA contracts with big money on the open market.

As much as I do like/respect jagr, we're better off without him. And yea, we won't be top bidders so we won't get him more importantly, it seems horton might hit the open market.. could be very appealing if all goes well with his shoulder

we'll probably see what at least a good chunk of the off season plan is at the draft. http://www.mlive.com/redwings/index.ssf/2013/06/red_wings_look_to_alleviate_fo.html IMO we'll probably end up turning to at least one buy out.. we do have a lot that we can deal tradewise but the problem is, the rest of the leauge knows it. -
probably but if Fla is losing 2 roster players, they'd probably like to get 2.. I could see it working with a mid prospect rather than em. But at the same time, with the amount of forwards the wings have, they'd likely have to drop 2 roster forwards if they were adding 2
