definitely ridiculous but it did have one tweet i thought was pretty funny ha.... NHL Podium @NHLPodium I'm trying to read the first page of Bettman's notes sitting on top of me, but all I can make out is "sneer condescendingly".

If I'm not mistaken.. He means as long as the lockout has lasted (in days), he won't purchase anything from the NHL for that amount of time after it resumes.. Sort of a personal vendetta against the NHL.

hopefully it'll be "The New Joe Louis Arena at (Corporation such as Amway) Events Center" ....or something like that. It's a little long (haha) but it'd be cool if they preserved the name JLA.

I don't think anyone will replace the datsyuk-zetterberg euro-twins combo in their prime. but I hope to God brunner/z's production translates well to the NHL.

They traded for the first round picks.... but "draft balls" determine when those picks are in this scenario. If for example, the flames traded the canes for their first round draft pick, they would have 6 draft balls in the lotto technically speaking and therefore a better chance at a first overall pick. The two draft balls still belong to LA and NY but since CBus has their first round picks, they still has a 5 in 50 chance of getting the first overall pick.

well, the goalie was swinging with his blocker on, brunner should've dropped em.. good to see that he doesn't mind getting rough though, that's something the wings have been lacking for too long.

If he signed here, he wouldn't have to deal with a sh***y owner.. From what I've heard, Ilitch is one of the few owners against the lockout.

All signs point towards Z. Including cleary stating that Zette will be a great captain some time last off season. So yeah, it's pretty expected by most people.

I was going to say the same thing. Chelios was great for us (for about 50 years heh) but I've said it before and I'll say it again, I wish konstantinov played a full career sooo so badly.... :/ guy was so good with so much potential.
