We don't know what other teams were still in it at the time.. maybe the rest backed out and it was just Florida or they were just the best offer and said it was now or never. -
Definitely seemed sketchy at the time.. looks like the skepticism was justifiable.

Gotta think vaneks past post trade deadline performance hurt his value a little or there wasn't as big of a market for him as we thought.. I'll hold off being upset until I see what vrbata goes for -

Haha well they were rumored to be interested in him. Probably thought they might be able to get him real cheap.. don't think Holland will actually bite unless he gets a return that takes this season as a fluke though.

I don't know 100% but that doesn't seem like something that would be allowed if I had to guess. Also, a couple more moves from holland? Likely Ott and Vanek but I'm interested to see what else he has up his sleeves. Or in his boots so to speak so far so good

Wings won't call anyone up for this game but will call up a d man sometime this weekend. Could see our first look at Russo. Would like to see them give svechnikov and bert a couple games near the end of the year too. Anyway, LGW! Should be a good game.
