Still no decision from Suter. Speculation abounds.

How many times has the thread title changed in the last 5 minutes? At least 3 by my count...lol -

Parise Watch [update x2]: Red Wings OUT of Running

I hope so, cause if he does, I can see the Wings signing him or at least doing everything in their power to! If Parise signs with the Pens, will they even be able to afford Malkin anymore? -
Lol, seriously. Did anyone actually believe he was going to leave Jersey and sign somewhere else?
-
Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, Jiri. Toronto fans were excited they got Leb-derp too and told us how much of a steal he was and how much we'd all definitely miss him. Lol, gotta love that hopeless optimism!
-
Hes a solid backup goalie, and also, oh, ya know, the guy who saved our ass MANY times last year when Conklin was sucking all over the place and couldn't stop a goal to save his life. Do you even watch Red Wings hockey? lol

signed Red Wings Sign Jordin Tootoo to 3-yr deal, $1.9M/yr
sleepwalker replied to Tim.D's topic in General
I think all Wings fans need to make a formal agreement that anyone blowing one of those stupid ******* things at the Joe gets an immediate beat down. We need to nip that shlt in the bud immediately. -
signed Red Wings Sign Mikael Samuelsson to 2-yr, $6m deal (w/full NTC)

Yeah, on second thought, Sammy would pretty much just be replacing Hudler. I'm still kind of in "WTF mode" about the Tootoo signing though, and seriously hope that the stupid whistles don't follow him to the Joe... -

Uhhhhmm...we were talking about Suter, not Douchebag McWhistle. -

Samuelsson and Tootoo? And I was looking forward to today, but this sh*t is getting ridiculous now. I feel like Ashton Kutcher is going to jump out and let us all know that we are being punked at any minute now. -

WTF? Tootoo is a ****** bag. And if I'm at the Joe and any of youse clowns blows one of those stupid ass whistles around me, I'm punching you in the face. Just tellin' you now... -
True, but I think his lack of speed, and as the person after stated, going to the dirty areas, but then being generally useless when there and getting immediately knocked off the puck al the time can all be attributed to his small size. If he had a few inches and 40 pounds more he would be a lot faster, would not get knocked off the puck ALL the time, and would be much more helpful in all other areas other than scoring. I think most of the negatives about his actual game can be directly attributed to his tiny size.
-
Most articles about this also pointed out the fact that Hudler is third in scoring amongst FAs behind Selanne and Parise. Knowing that Hudler cares about nothing but money, he probably thinks he is worth 6-7 mil after reading that stat over and over, lol. Honestly though, I wouldn't mind Hudler if he were to magically grow about 4 inches and 40 pounds overnight. As it stands though, his size is a liability.

"Moral among generation-z is at an all time low. Our lifeblood is our exhaustive magnitude of entitlement and arrogance" LOL Its funny cause its true! Good to see someone of the "z" generation call it like it is.

I don't think anyones main beef with Hudler is that he can't score points. Its that his size is a MAJOR liability. Even with his MMA training and getting all diesel a slight breeze in the rink is still enough to knock him off the puck...
-
It is when he looks in the mirror. lol
-
We all know that Hudler doesn't care about anything but money. Some other team will offer him more, and he'll jump on it. At least, I hope...
-
He was a solid d-man, bummer to see him go, although like Lidstrom retiring this off season, we all knew it was an inevitability. I feel kinda bad for Stuart with all the family stuff and not being able to fly the entire family out to see him. Yet another glaring example of why you should NEVER get romantically involved with someone who already has kids by someone else. Its almost guaranteed to be drama. (I know, been there, done that)
-
Huh? Did you mean to quote someone else? I clearly said it was a cheap shot. But, it defintely was NOT the "worst cheap shot in hockey history", as you claimed it was.
-
No he didn't. Not even top 100. Now, the aftermath of the cheap shot and ensuing pile up had some of the worst RESULTS in hockey, yes, but the shot itself was far from being the worst cheap shot in hockey history.
-
Agreed 100% Its also bulls*** that they were allowed to bring him in to try to help their Cup run. You can guarantee that loophole is going to be slammed shut during the next CBA.

Darren McCarty seeks protection from former pals
sleepwalker replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
Hopefully having all their names and locations publically published like this for all to see, in an area, and entire region, that absolutely loves the late 90s Wings and the old grind line, will be enough encouragement for them to knock that s*** off and leave Mac and his wife alone. -
2012 SCF : Los Angeles Kings vs. New Jersey Devils
sleepwalker replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
BOOM!!! Those last two LA power play goals are what some might call the justice of the Hockey Gods for the refs spending the first two periods trying to give NJ some goals by giving them no less than SIX power plays (including a 4 minute and a 5 on 3) while giving LA a whopping ZERO power plays in the same two periods. Yeah, no bias there, lol. -

And just as you'd expect from the good 'ol NHL these days, the refs are doing everything they possibly can to try to give NJ the advantage and get the, back into it by calling the game as unevenly as they possibly can. And apparantly so much as even look at Marty and its a penalty...but take a run at Quick? Its all good, no penalty. Including the double, what is that, 7 penalties they've called on LA now? And how many against NJ? One or two? And the one didn't even put LA up a man, just evened it up.
