Decent game by Ozzie, got a point at least. At least Howard gets some rest for San Jose. I love Ozzie, but this should be his last season.

Wow, just saw the Three stars. Did they just feel sorry for the Ducks or something, why is Getzlaf second star? Should have been Howard, Franzen and Val.

Seems like one team is always on a decent streak in the Pacific and the Northwest will probably be between the Avalanche and Canucks. But really doesn't matter to me because this feels like one of those years.

Great game by Howard, I think the Wings were sloppy at times but obviously the Ducks were not good enough to get it past Howard.

Yeah, I dislike and hate a few teams in the NHL but I rarely bash them. Sure I will laugh when they get Shutout(Hawks) but won't go out of my way to bash anything really except that I think Pittsburgh would be a below average team without Crosby.

Decent game, pretty weak first goal Jimmy gave up. Loved the Datsyuk and Zetterberg goals but anyone else want to hit Stuart in the head with a hockey stick when he was behind the net? Kind of fell asleep until Thornton charged him and caused the loose puck, would have been a terrible goal to give up if they had scored. Overall a decent win but nothing special.

Exactly. Sure I am biased about Wings players because I am a Wings fan but when I see players with bad seasons(Keith/Pronger) ahead of players like Nick, Liles, Byfuglien and Letang just talking about defense you know it is just a complete joke. Wings really don't get in often because we don't have players in the media every five seconds and we don't rely on one, two or three players for all our offense.

I think Michigan can win if three things happen. On offense - Don't turn it over, this offense is explosive and Michigan could have beat tOSU last year if it wasn't for those five(?) interceptions by Forcier. On defense - Just make a few stops please? Or fire Robinson, man couldn't coach his way out of a wet paper bag. On special teams - Ignore field goals. If it is 4th and less than 7 and in FG range, go for it. If it is 4th and more than 7 still in FG range, just pooch it. I really think we should keep Rich Rod, it is just the defense and special teams that are absolutely horrible which I think could be fixed with better coaches in those areas(and of course Rich not being so negative at times with his comments)

That is why I love the Wings, grow people through the system and pick up cheap older players. I was laughing when I saw Niemi and Byfuglien go. Pretty much the same with Montreal trading away Halak.
