Wings break the losing streak decisively. The kid line combines for 5 points. Hank and Pav light it up and the goose gets loose on the PP. PK stands tall. 5-2 Wings.

Goose or DD for the C, the other gets a A. I could see Smith, Mantha, maybe Tatar with A's at some point (I liked how Tatar repped the wings crest on his first goal celebration, I took it as an "it's about the crest on the front, not the name on the back" moment). I wouldn't complain if Oullette got an A at some point, since it would fit his initials perfectly. The Abs suggestion is a good one, since he's a Michigan boy, but I think he'll be a vet like Homer that leads by example of work ethic without a letter.

Just watched the game on my DVR due to a long rehearsal last evening. Great character comeback win. Hopefully the momentum continues. Sitting at 2nd in the division and tied with the other division leader. I'll take it, and things will get better once the PP starts to click.

Just a random thought. I know Adam Almquist went overseas, but if I recall correctly, the Wings still hold his rights. Is that a piece we could throw in to a package to help keep Larkin and Mantha off the table? He was good in the AHL but a bit undersized. He might fit with a team like the Sabres, though on the surface he's likely not much, if any, value now.

I suggest the Jack Bauer treatment.

There was a sequence early in the game where Subban gave Z about six crosschecks in the corner. That and the Dats hit were the big two, along with the goal callback. I saw a pretty good hook but most of it was stuff I was generally ok with letting go since they didn't call the Wings for it either.
