Wow. Tough break for the Stars. Payback for the Brad May goal that went straight in against Dallas but called off due to intent to blow a couple if years ago? I hope this doesn't end up a one goal game, since it sucks to have a game decided by a call like that. (Even if the team I root for gets the W).

That was thoroughly enjoyable. It was great to see the players I grew up watching reunited. So much history on the ice for both teams. Hopefully the return of Fedorov paves the way for the eventual retirement of 91. Seeing the Russian 5 reunited was a wonderful moment, and the screen blurred a bit. My wife even commented on how nice it was to include Konstantinov, as well as the respect given to Howe and Lindsay. Part of me wishes they had done a 24/7-type thing with the alums. -

Awesome to hear Yzerman, Fedorov, and Shanahan announced again (along with the others). Totally epic awesomeness for Kocur to honor Probert with the tribute jersey. -
Mantha took the body a couple of times in the first. As I said earlier, he had a great effort to set up the first goal for Canada. Overall, for the parts I watched, he was more consisently noticeable to me than Drouin, though Drouin had some great moments, Mantha seemed more intensely involved overall, imho.
