Nothing like having to do the extended dress rehearsal the day of the concert and losing 4 other rehearsals leading into the 2 weeks before the concert due to snow. I'd be a very happy man if the Wings were blowing out the Panthers when I got home (curly fries optional but requested). Yes, I'm greedy, since the news of Stevie Y playing the alumni game isn't enough, I want a decisive win tonight. Let's Go Wings!

I'm not sure, but there's something to it. Maybe he feels needed when Pav and Hank are out and he steps up, but maybe he's a bit intimidated by their world class skill and feels, not sure if this is the best way to put it, "inadequate" in comparison?

Agreed about not piling on Howie, but I'm thrilled to see Monster playing well. If the Wings call up Mrazek next year to back up Jimmy as expected, Gustavsson is playing his way into a new deal. Good for him, especially after his injury problems last year.

Yep. Our new interim superintendent (old one retired Nov. 1) is even quicker on the trigger. To be fair there are kids with almost a 1 hour bus ride partly on dirt roads in the district. I'm less than thrilled about the two closings last week (we could have had 2 hour delays) and the early dismissal today since it means losing three rehearsals with a concert coming on Tuesday. Still, the guy impressed me by getting in the trenches to help get the lunch mods through more quickly by helping serve and doing dishes. Back to the game... I've got a feeling it's going to be decided on a broken play. I'd love to see Tatar and Nyquist connect for the winner. Eurotwins, the next generation. If not one of them, then Weiss to get it going.

Agreed, but when you don't win the puck battles, instead if dump and chase it's take a dump all over your PP stats.

That's happened here on occasion, but rarely. Still, Wings feed in SD is better than a crap feed in HD.
