Missed the last game due to playing bass in the pit for a production of Grease. Hoping the Wings rock it tonight and even the series. Game is on CNBC for those who aren't in the Detroit area.

Total momentum shift. The whole team got complacent after the Mule goal to make it 4-1, the Ducks came out hard, and the boys couldn't crank it up again fast enough. As far as daydreaming, I don't know. Howie has made a heck of a lot more saves than he hasn't just to get them in the playoffs. He was due to let a couple in. Plus, he wasn't rested much during the season. Fatigue maybe?

Goose was due. Rough third, but there were some positives here. Crap ice, some of the secondary guys got it going. In the Joe with a better ice surface and start times that aren't ridiculously late plus a partisan crowd, I like their chances. The young guys learned a valuable lesson tonight. In a playoff game, no lead is ever safe, and if you let up on the gas, or fail to finish them when they're down and your skate is on their throat, it will likely cost you. A couple of the goals were weak for Howard, but they pulled it out. He'll lock it down back in Detroit.
