Ridiculous that I'm stuck watching the end of the Caps/Rangers game. Center Ice should give all the feeds when there is overlap potential like these last two games. Such is the joys of living in NE PA. Game just ended. Since I'm in the East, I'll probably be stuck with the postgame crap instead if a quick cut to the Wings game.

The comment about the football celebrations makes me wonder just how ridiculous it would look if somebody tried to do the Ickey Shuffle after scoring a goal, but then an opposing player woul likely reenact the Dale Hunter on Pierre Turgeon hit before it finished. As far as the Tatar clip, the guy was emphasizing the Wings logo, not his nameplate. Plus it was his first NHL goal. IMHO he should get a pass. The Burrows stick snap after his winner to break the Wings' home win streak was a bit bush league, though given the situation I can sort of understand it (though the guy is still a douchenozzle). He could have been more creative. The Tiger Williams stick ride used to make me laugh, since it was a guy who pretty much never expected to score and seeing a top shelf tough guy showing the joy of a kid was kind of funny to me. I always took it as more of a holy crap I actually scored and it might not happen again then him trying to embarrass the goalie.

I had an idea for a gif if someone could edit a video clip to make it. Let's just say it involves either my dog with a pet wings jersey and a training pad. I'd need someone to add the appropriate logo on the pad.... probably too gross to actually do, though the logo could be changed to fit the appropriate opponent. I love the datsyuk duck hunt and the 22 year playoff pic with the most interesting man.

Congrats to the Wings for a 22nd straight playoff appearance. Congrats to Jimmy for his 5th shutout of the season, 3rd in his last 5 games... just an average performance for him this week. Congrats to Z for showing he is indeed another captain who will lead the way when the chips are down. Rest up for the Ducks. Go BJ's! Go Avs!
