That would make sense but it's off camera. Does he do that? I've heard it in several games.
-
Perry runs into Kindl, looks hurt. And another average save by Howard. Keep it going Jimmy!
-
What is that sound like the post?
-
Probably a good call to use the timeout.
-
I'll take the PP, bury it guys. Totally weak call, hopefully it isn't a trend for the rest of the game.
-
Good kill. Keep it going boys. Let's Go Wings!
-
I'd settle for a pre-emptive Kronwalling.
-
If not Perry someone else will try. Any updates on Lashoff?
-
Kindl to the box. Time for the PK to stand tall.
-
Miller time!
-
Lashoff hurt. Hopefully not serious. Looked like the puck kicked up.
-
Exactly.
-
Average save by Howard there.
-
Keep this pressure. We do NOT want this to be a reverse image of Friday's game. Tootoo and Belesky.
-
Good karma after the missed high stick on him.
-
Thank you! Cleary deflection looks like he was channelling Homer for a bit. Good work by Kindl, Smith and Nyquist.
-
My post was partly a swipe at the soft Euro stereotype. Nice pick by Nyquist there. Too bad Emmerton couldn't convert. Keep the pressure. Early PP. Make it count guys!
-
No, dress Edzo. Like I said in the other thread, he'd have an apoplectic stroke if he had to call a game favorably for the Wings. One game (heck maybe one period) and he'd be off to the ER.
-
Is it just me, or did Keating have a bit of a smile and also sound happier (or maybe relieved that Murph was axed and not him?)
-
Sadness for no Murph tonight.
-
I think it's more of the rest factor. That, plus he is a rookie and a "soft" Euro so he could have been a prime target for any shenanigans. Pavs has shown he can more than handle himself (right Perry?). It would be very duck-like to go after a non-fighter.
-
I agree with the move. I have a feeling Tootoo will be important tonight. Plus, it may make Brunner hungrier (I also think he's hit a bit of a wall so the rest may help for the long haul).
-
Yep. They may also draw some attention from the opposition's better D-men which could open space for the top lines.
-
I agree with the idea of Brunner being moved down to get him away from Perry, Ryan, and Getzlaf. It also puts a decent scoring threat on three lines.I like your idea of Nyquist and Brunner together. If they click, imagine if they are paired with Helm?
-
That phrasing would have a better chance of getting picked imho. I do think that after the Malkin incident to try to save face they did what you surmise. Regarding tonight, I hope Tootoo plays. Though the last game may have been a turning point for the team. I'm grateful to those who were posting in the GDT so I could follow along. This one should be intense. Edit: sadly, you probably are right about Tootoo being blacklisted the moment he steps on the ice.
