When they did that season documentary on the Wings when Cujo was here, didn't Keifer Sutherland do the voice-over narration for it? I also seem to remember him being friendly with McCarty.

T. Low, best of luck as you face those challenges. You seem to have the right mindset to fight it well. Your comment about loved ones is VERY true. My father has taken it to heart after having an LVAD put in last spring. You and your family are in my prayers. Condolences to Jiri. My Dad is 72 and it was hard to face the possibility of losing him. I can't begin to imagine what it would have been like to lose him as early as Jiri has lost his.

Was Lance Armstrong helping with training during the lockout? . While I'm by no means a fan of Marleau or the Sharks, you've got to give him props for a phenomenal start.
-
But if course... that's why I floated it out there in the first place. He's done voice over work for the NHL as well, if I recall correctly.
-
True. I forgot that AGENT Jack Bauer named his cat Chuck Norris because Jack Bauer makes Chuck Norris seem like a p***y. Back to Brunner - I'm very pleased with what I've seen thus far. Once he gets fully acclimated, look out.
-
In that case, just call him Jack Bauer.

For this hitting line, if they keep it up, maybe call them the buzzsaw line?
-
This third line is hitting! I love it.

Great work by Pav on that clear. Too bad the ref was in Cleary's way.
-
Hell of a pass by Pavs to set up Bertuzzi there. Who wants some curly fries? He just needs one more. Great first game back for the Todd! The boys are back high five!
-
Nice analogy for the music teacher. . Obligatory drummer joke - How do you know your stage risers are level? The drool comes out of both sides of the drummer's mouth. Seems right from what you say about the refs. Thanks to all for the updates.

Cheering Cleary's injury is beyond poor taste. The guy, regardless of how badly he may have played at times, has been a friggin' warrior for the Wings playing through a heck of a lot. I'm late to the party due to a late dinner engagement, but it's nice to see the PP clicking, Brunner, Hank, and Pavs lighting the lamp, and some of the injured coming back. How bad have the penalties been? Good calls, iffy calls, ticky-tack calls, or complete bovine fecal material?
-
Brunner! Too little too late though. At least no SO. Hell of a game by both goalies, gotta give credit where it's due.

We are on the "good side" of that call, but I still strongly dislike that new rule.
-
How was that not a hook after that stick on Datysuk? Hell of a save Jimmy! Real "siv" there.

We are one of those teams. Where would the NBA be without the Lakers? MLB w/o the Yankees? NFL w/o the Cowboys..... you get the point.

But Bettman thinks he has the Penguins... (I do get your point, but the poison dwarf has had burning wood for the Pens ever since Crosby was drafted so forgive my cynicism).

Huge goal for Dallas. Too bad the Wings can't catch a break on offense. There IS still time. Let's Go Wings! Pick it up and get back into it!
-
Come on and cut the McKinnon/Jones talk. Two reasons: 1). The guys are not going to stink it up that bad for the whole season (a little positivity never hurts) . 2) (and this contradicts the previous parenthetical statement). IF hypothetically the Wings were to finish dead last, we all know the poison dwarf would rig things so the Wings would fall the maximum possible slots in the draft order as a result of the lottery.

Would a cardboard standup of Lidstrom on the ice instead of Quincey help? (I kid...mostly). Part of me thinks the PP is on the cusp of a serious feeding frenzy. However, at this point (game 3 of the PP has given up more goals than it has scored. Two stats questions: 1). What is the longest goal drought the PP has had in Wings history? And 2). What is the longest time a PP has had a negative goal differential?

Edit player - increase his skills (only way to make him better)
2. Once editing is finished, go to the trade screen, and trade him for Bogosian.

LOL. 3. Play against his new team until you land the "Hercules Check" on him. They.need to wake up in the third. Dallas had more energy. Jimmy is playing well enough to keep them in it. With the shortened season and lack of training camp, I'm worried that they will be really gassed on the second half of back to backs all season (I believe they have 12 this year).

Come on guys, time to tie this game up. As I said earlier, it's getting to the point where probability is on the Wings' side, and the SH chance reminded me that they are also a net -1 goals on the PP this season. Let's Go Wings!

<blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="puckloo39" data-cid="2344957" data-time="1358906252">
nice work for a 'siv' there, Jimmeh.

Huge +1, then another for the follow up save on the rebound.

It's getting close to the point where probability is going to force a PP goal for the Wings.
