That is one gorgeous graphic to kick off the GDT. Very nicely done!

Too bad I live in PA. I'd love to hit a couple games.

Bill Ranford? I'm crashing so feel free to throw the next one up if I'm right. Edit: nice timing puckloo.

The button mashing sequences are THAT annoying. That aside, I do like it. Hit me up to play doubles if I'm on. I think you'll like Piers once you unlock him in the Mercenaries.

So far I'm through the 3 main campaigns on normal and on chapter 2 of the unlockable Ada Wong campaign on RE6. Overall it's an improvement from RE5. The movement, etc. is better. The skill points vs. upgrading individual weapons seems to work well, and my son and I can rage fairly well in Mercenaries. The campaigns are a decent size, and the story is pretty good. The BIG downer IMHO is the frequent use of button mashing on action prompts. In some cases the camera angle changes requiring you to change the direction you are running which will cause you to mistime the action button mash. I dislike dying repeatedly because of a camera angle change. Other than that, the AI partner is a huge improvement from RE5. If you like RE, it's worth picking up imho. Be warned it's more horror action than the old school survival horror.

I rememember the bit about giving Russians a bad name, but wasn't it Fetisov, and didn't he give him a set of his own pads to wear? In any case, given the doc's story, anyone giving Feds grief about it needs to back off.

I did the same thing. Regular paper looked OK but heavier stock did turn out better.

The only way the Make-Beliefs could be worse if they replaced Brian Burke with the tandem of Garth Snow and Scott Howson, with Pierre McGuire as bench coach.
-
Nope, considering I've been a paid church organist and choir director for 15 years, my attendance is pretty darn regular. TPBM can cook or bake something that is phenomenal.

Hot pasta dish. My wife's fettucini alfredo is to die for. Tiramisu or shoo fly pie?

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend games 3 and 4 of the '98 series against the Caps. The MCI Center (as they called it at the time) was easily filled with more Wings fans than Caps fans, and the section where I sat had just about everyone on the roster represented on a jersey. Before the clinching game, I remember a rather attractive blonde in a McCarty jersey distributing gummi octopi to the Wings fans in the section. On the concourse there was a Motown style band playing before the game (they weren't bad), and bashing the Detroit team, fans, etc. in a somewhat good natured way (just a bit ironic, IMHO since they were being paid to play Motown). At one point they started playing "We Want the Funk" which almost immediately was sung along to by a bunch of Wings fans as "We Want the Cup". The game itself in many ways is a blur to me, but It was almost like a party in the stands where I was for most of the evening. During the third they showed Konstantinov on the screen and there was a Vladdy chant that was pretty loud. The Cup ceremony was surreal. Lots of tears of joy, and when Vladdy was handed the cup, they flowed even more.

Great character guy and solid bottom six player. I saw a lot of this guy in Binghamton. -
I always liked Vernon's mask. Cheveldae's was decent, but I preferred Vernon's. It was kind of classy.

A Robocop mask would be sweet. OCP = Omni Crease Patrol?

If you could reset the career of one Wings player...

This. Vladdy moreso, since he was just phenomenal, and he actually did the right thing by hiring a limo. Grigorenko never had the chance. If I recall correctly, didn't Kozlov also have a bad car wreck before he came over? Maybe I'm petty, but I hope Richard Gnida (the limo driver who was under the influence and on a suspended license) has been suffering with guilt over what he did. Was he ever jailed for his actions? -
Nope. I get up a couple of hours earlier than my wife on Sundays since I have an organist gig. By the time I get home, she's up and has it taken care of. TPBM had a huge breakfast today.

The Xym. So far Skyrim, ME3,some others, though my step kid went on my account when I was at the hospital with my dad and played a sniper game and some skate game. I'll likely get NHL13.

I do have an "Uncle Jack" , though he is actually just a VERY close friend of my parents. As far as the wedding, I behaved. Though of the nearly 200 weddings I've played, this organ was easily the worst I've played (the MIDI files on an old NES cartridge played back on the original hardware had a better organ tone). It was a very nice service, and the wedding couple are friends of mine who I've taught with for years. It was also a nice way for my wife and I to share our 11th anniversary. TPBM has been to a wedding (not their own) on their anniversary.

Nice way to put it. Denis Leary would be proud. What the heck, use that sound clip when he scores.

Should Kronwall have to answer the bell for his hits?
TheXym replied to Red Wings Addict's topic in General
This is a big point. If it's a clean hit, no way he ahould have to fight. If it's a dirty hit, then yes. Too many players seem to be getting rankled over clean hits. Keep your head up. -
Not really. I guess I'll spend the time I'd normally spend watching the Wings practicing my basses (though if I have to use headphones not so much) or maybe get season tix for the local AHL teams. TPBM is also going to a wedding tomorrow ( Aug. 18). (I'm actually the organist for it)

Why not start a write in campaign for a completely unexpected player. Micah Aivazoff? Tim Cheveldae? Yves Racine? Petr Klima? Fredrik Olausson? Kevin Hodson? "Bobblin'" Bob IT'SINTHERE (Essensa)? Or, maybe a memorial bobblehead for Brad McCrimmon if the family would be cool with it. In all seriousness I like the Sawchuk and Probie ideas.

Mosquitoes suck. Spray the heck out of them. MC Escher or MC Hammer (though a collaboration on a music video would be seriously messed up, wouldn't it?)

Guilty as charged. Punctuation and capitalization are important. Without them, the following statement would be pretty gross. "I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse." TPBM gets annoyed when someone butchers the English language.
