Heart says yotes, but I don't think they have enough to get past Chicago. Even though I'd love to see the Hawks sent packing, I think they win in 6.
-
Bruins in six. No way Holtby hangs with Thomas in the crease. Hopefully there will be an encore performance of the Alexander Semin bongo solo.
-
As much as I wouldn't mind the Panthers winning a round, despite having Kopecky and Campbell, I think NJ is going to be too much for them. Devils in 6.
-
I hope this series is a seven game war of attrition, with the winner needing life support to get to the second round. If I have to root for a team, it'd be the Blues. Thornton is a bigger ****** than Backes (barely).
-
The Sens' minor league team is 1/2 hour from where I live, but despite that, and the fact the Sens won the season series 3-1, I've gotta pick the Rangers in six. Lundqvist is having a stellar season, and ya gotta love how Torts called out the preferential treatment of the Pens. The Sens will make this a decent series but Anderson won't outduel Lundqvist.

This is, imo, the best all around team the Preds have iced, and Rinne is capable of stealing a game or two. However, I firmly believe that the Wings will win this series if: they draw first blood in most games. Playing catchup in the third is draining. Rinne is a good goalie, but if you break the seal once and maintain pressure you can generally get a couple more. Howard is rounding into form. Our D is better overall. Lidstrom is the man, nuff said. The first time Radulov skates down the right side with his head down, Kronwall will introduce himself. I have a feeling this playoffs is going to be Ericsson's coming out party. Franzen, Zetterberg, and Pavel will step up in a big way and the return of Helm will be a big sparkplug for the Wings. Wings in six!

Some good chances in OT. The red machine may be awakening.
-
Finally a goal to tie it with the goalie pulled. Heck of a pass between the legs by Holmstrom to set up Pavs for the open net.
-
How many times in history has 100 points only been good enough for fourth place in a division?
-
Win this faceoff, sustain pressure, and tie it. Let's Go Wings!
-
The Wings need to exert more pressure in the offensive zone. Put Nyquist with Pav and Hank for a few shifts.
-
They're getting good pressure, if they keep it up, Crawford will crack. Weak shot by Franzen there but a PP coming up. Will we score or will we have to kill it and avoid a shorty? I'm thinking they're due to pop one and tie it up. Let's Go Wings.

And one that Edzo screams in ecstacy when Pierre is around and they're off the air.
-
I didn't say original. . I'm sure those had better vocals
-
Well played. Mule looked annoyed in that last closeup. Time to break the seal on Crawford.
-
Emmerton with a decent hit there.
-
Creative concept, poorly executed. Time to tie it up. Let's Go Wings!
-
They don't need bibs when they're at the locker room gloryhole....
-
Weak sauce call - aka the Brad Watson special, but the PK is holding up. Props to Miller for his effort.
-
The Todd!!!!! Two points tonight the hard way. Kindl needs to sit, and no more optional PP/PK practices. The playoffs are nigh.
-
Howie stops MacDonald. Keep it up Jimmy! Hudler denied.... Grr
-
Pavs denied, dang it. Looked like the puck rolled on him.
-
Jimmy stands tall on Oshie.
-
Good pressure in OT but didn't bury one. Congrats on another 100 point season, but they got the point the hard way. Kindl is definitely the goat tonight. I wonder if Franzen ate some GMO mule feed during the 2nd intermission. I like our chances in the shootout.

Good to see Mule wake up. Now give us some frigging curly fries in regulation and end this.
