Big game time! I'm stoked for this one, I've got a perfect delmonico on the plate to savor while enjoying the game. I've also persuaded my father, a die-hard Flyers fan, to root for the Wings to make history. Though if the bas guys draw first blood I'm sure he'll call me to chirp a bit. I've got a good feeling, as the motivated Wings take advantage of the flyers on the back end of a back to back and win 5-2.

They lost to the Rangers yesterday and their PK was brutal. I watched part of the game at my Dad's house and if the Wings come out hard early it will lead to good things. There were a few instances where the blueshirts had Bobrovsky heat and just missed the net. That said, the Flyers will definitely be up for this game to play spoiler, so the Wings had best show up on time and play the full 60 (or more if needed)

Keeping the '09 WC jersey would be ok with me, as would the barberpole jerseys from the NHL 75th anniversary season. If not those then the very old school jerseys circa the dynasty years of the early 1950's would be my choice. -
Agreed about Joey. What about a Conklin for Carter trade, lol. I'd throw in a draft pitcher and a pound of bacon . I've like Conkblocker in the past but Joey has definitely earned the backup spot imho.

Great move by Pavs, absolute crap by Hudler and the Todd with the decider! 19 game home win streak high five! Good for JoeyMac. I think we have a backup worth keeping folks. I don't recall a 2 man advantage in OT before, at least not in a game I've seen.

The Todd was lucky not to get called for the 4th time tonight there. Great job by White to keep the puck in but o no avail. They had better come out with a mad on and swarm the net early and often and shoot the dang puck. Joey totally deserved the regulation win.

Since I'm in PA I hope i've got a decent shot in the lottery. I will say I'm very disappointed bu the posts of some individuals who are basically saying F me and the other out of state fans who'd love to go and get the big house rocking.

Not downplaying Mursak at all. It just seems to me that whenever it gets close to the point where Emmerton might need to be sat that he pulls out a play like the goal he got tonight. Usually I'm pretty meh about his play but he has great moments. Mursak will get his chances.
