Just saw the 5 on 3 kill. Great job on the PK. Ericsson looked much better on that one. As much as he's called out for his screw ups, he deserves some props on that PK. JMac standing tall, which is a good thing.

Just got in from running my church choir rehearsal and am catching up to the current moment on the DVR. Nice goal by mule to draw first blood on the PP.

That's a surprise. Maybe they gave Kronwall points for pain. The one he blocked looked like it hurt pretty badly. I have to crash. Long weekend and too much time on the road today, had to play for a student's college audition.

PP. at this point probability is on the Wing's side, they are long overdue, so somebody better shoot the dang puck already. Get someone on the weak sude fir a one timer or have a dman do the dive bomb fake to open the other d for a point shot.

Bad break for Joey with the d running into each other. Though I'm sure there are those who'll blame it on him. Good job for him to stand tall on that last rush. The boys have got to play better in front of him and fix the stinking power play.

Nice job by Cleary to draw first blood. Luongo made some great saves early, but the seal is broken now. Hopefully this is a good sign of more offensive fireworks from the Wings.

Ugly win to say the least, but I'll take it. Jimmy Howard is amazing. They need to have Van Halen's Top Jimmy from the 1984 album for when he makes a huge save, IMHO. Fil had a very sweet move for his shootout goal. I'm glad Pav seems to be all right after that knee shot, but I seriously doubt Vermette was trying to hurt him. I just hope Hank doesn't have to sit any more games for the non-hit and that the Columbus player is all right.

Yes. I was more than a bit surprised. I thought the game started at 7:30 so I turned the center ice feed on and Kronwall literally scored right as I was grabbing my jersey.

Good job by Conks to stand tall in the shootout. Hopefully he keeps building his confidence, as he's starting to look more comfortable between the pipes again. Hudler is heating up, and I loved the "don'tforgettastairs" comment after the goal. Is that going to be the yambags of 2012?
