9-2 now. This game has been a laugher (I'm visiting the parents, Dad is a huge Flyers fan). It hasn't been that close. Even the Flyers announcers made allusions to the likeliness of job openings in Columbus after the score hit 8-0.

Watching it with my dad. Mason was pulled after the third goal and Arniel called the timeout at about 5:22 left in the first. 3 fights that I saw so far - he's started flipping back and forth with the LSU-Alabama game. The BJ's just look bad. Which makes the loss by our boys that much more annoying, but at least they seem to be on the right track tonight.

According to TSN, Zetterberg is 6-3 on faceoffs and Darren Helm is 5-0. Pretty nice there, guys, keep it up. Here's hoping they don't let up in the third and allow them back into it.

As I mentioned a couple of GDT's back, I remember an interview shortly after the Lokomotiv tragedy where he said something along the lines of not even wanting to think about hockey. I wonder if there was any of that mental/emotional stress still affecting him. Plus, disn't he say late in the preseason his wrist was still bothering him.

That could be appropriate. Next Finals game that isn't on a night before I have to teach I'll do it. In 2008 I had a 10 lb chocolate Stanley Cup made after the win. When I'm at home I'll find the pic and post it.

Heck yeah, it was inspirational (or something like that). At some point I may decide to do that myself on a weekend with either some good beer (I don't think I could bring myself to burn through a bottle of the Macallan during one game since it isn't cheap)

Bulls*** PPG. Koivu gets away with a blatant elbow to Kronner's head. And the diving f**k Setoguchi scores the winner. Minn got two undeserved points tonight. Some complete bulls**t calls but some like the homer trip were legit. The PK can only come through so many times. Frustrating loss to put it mildly.
