Nice to see the PK stand tall and the PP come through. I was a bit late to join since I was on the phone with Time Warner Cable. Apparently they just added HD for virtually all of the Center Ice packages but only certain HD boxes can read the feed according to the rep. My new HD DVR box will be here Wed and she gave me a year of DVR for $5/month and a $25 credit for the inconvenience.

I totally understand the sentiment, but I'd much rather have a win (or loss) not be tainted by horrible calls in either direction.

It's getting to the point where probability says they almost will definitely score. They need to set up the one timer on the off wing a whole lot more than they do. But a string of multi-PP goal games will fix their percentage pretty quickly.

And the offense is alive... abby has 2 parts of the Gordie Howe hat trick, and Flip actually shoots. Don't look now but Huds kept his point streak alive. Now they just have to not let up like they did against the Sens. Howie deserves to have them stand up tall in front of him, period.

Howie is playing very well, imho. I hope they get better in the faceoff circles, if they don't it's going to come back and bite them hard. Hopefully they come out for the second and the rust is gone. I think a big part of the sluggishness and the uncharacteristically poor faceoff performance is the long layover since the last game.

I think there are quite a few who might be a bit drained after the Tiger's game, but once the Wings pop one I think the Joe is going to be rocking pretty darn hard.

A bit late to chime in, the net wasn't cooperating. Gorgeous GDT's this season. This is the first time I'm on not using the mobile, and it's great on the full version! Chilling out, watching the game, enjoying a glass of the Maccallan on the rocks. Interesting to see the nucks have rolled out Schneider in the nets. Hopefully the Wings light him up. Ooh Abs and Lapierre. The ref looked like he just saved Lapierre big time, he was on his knees, Abs was wailing and the ref blocked him when he stepped in. Interesting tone early.

Didn't see the game until today due to date night with my wife, but center ice had the replay on this morning after my church gig. Stuart was imho sluggish compared to the rest of the D, but Kindl and E have been pleasant surprises. Things seem to bode well for this season thus far.

Let's clean it up on D and take it to 2-0 one the season while spoiling Forsberg's night. Another 5 goals of offense would be nice. I think White is gonna be the big fantasy hockey sleeper stud this year.

I was at game 1 of the AHL series between the Hershey Bears and the Charlotte Checkers when I was in Hershey for All-State chorus. Souray was pyloned several times. My friend who wasn't a big hockey fan even thought his "suckiness" stood out. When I told him about the huge contract he was riding, he was flabbergasted.

Im definitely pulling for the Sens. i live down in Montrose, about halfway between Binghamton and Scranton. It's just above the PA/NY border by I-81.
