The replay showed the hold was a marginal call at best IMHO. Apparently Mickey felt the same way.

If Hudler did grab the guy fine, but when there are a couple of pretty bad no calls the other way that were much worse I think we have grounds to gripe. On a side note my friend Bob just got back from a grad class and is coming up for the rest of the game. The Wings are 17-2-1 in games he's watched at my place so hopefully that helps. Edit: stupid iPod touch "corrections"

Agreed but where was the holding call. That was weak IMHO. Unless they show a replay that says otherwise.

The weak PP we had came back to bite us. The Wings convert it after the huge kill I think SJ wilts. They don't and the good effort of the first 19:30 gets flushed. The boys can't keep giving up PP chances in mass quantities. Hopefully they come out for the second with a mad on and get it back early then blow it open.

Nice job with the A-Team wings and as a diehard fan of seasons 1-8 of Scrubs I fully appreciate "The Todd". But that last one makes me wonder if a Babcock/Dr. Cox Photoshop would be appropriate.

Backstrom has played really well today. Like it or not ya gotta give him credit. This game could have been a bit of a blowout if not for his stellar play.

It blipped here but I thought it was because my kid's friend was trying to hop on and netflix on his laptop while I was streaming since the blip was right when he started streaming. At least they killed that penalty but I'd still like to see them blow it open in a big way.
