Tough break on the missed net it was like he channeled Jason @&$*ing Williams. The Avs were just getting away with an awful lot in their own zone.

Time to regroup. They've come back from down by two after the first often enough. The Avs may come out and try to sit on the lead which would play right into the Wing's hands. Macdonald seems to have something to prove.

Jimmy is being hung out to dry and he's spent from the OT games I think. Denver's altitude I think is a bit of a factor after the trip as well. Is it just me or did 2 of the goals come after d-men stepped up for big hits?

If we look at the trip as a whole 6 of 8 points in 6 nights ain't bad but it almost feels like the Wings are playing like they already got enough this trip. Great 4-1. Time for the hook.

Why does it feel like Jimmy is gonna get shelled tonight. The guys seem like they're gassed from the west coast swing and OT games. Time for the PK to step up big time. A shorty would be nice.

I also hope Ozzie can come back and play. It would be nice to see him move up a couple more spots on the wins list. He seemed to be turning it around and some of the iffy goals he did let in could be at least partly blamed on the injury he was fighting through.

Babs has held his tongue in post game interviews so many times that you'd think if he's actually saying something about it that the powers that be might actually listen.... oh wait it's the NHL never mind.

I figured it'd be a while. Better now than in the stretch run so he has time to fully recover though it shouldn't happen in the first place. I have no expectation of the league doing the right thing with a suspension especially with the Eager match penalty tonight distracting from it in the highlights. Button did call it a questionable hit on NHL on the Fly but it wasn't shown until the very end of the segment.
