Spezza kneed Howard in the head. Accidental or not, he needs to be made to pay, and it is inexcusable for the refs not to stop play when the Wings had possession.

Isn't that part of why they actually play the games? If they keep pushing the way they did in the 2nd half of the second, I like our chances. Howard is better than Lehtonen, and I think Kari is due to return to his historical form. If our boys come out for the 4rd focused and energetic, things will bode well.

Glad to see Hank is OK. I would love to see Helm and AA together, talk about a speedy duo. Hopefully they tighten up the sloppy play from Toronto. I really hope Hank isn't hurt, he has had a heck of a start to the season, and I was really looking forward to seeing him healthy all season. If he is, somebody needs to punch Smith in the yambag for being a f**ktard and giving his captain his hardest hit of the season. I've been using the Bowflex since Labor Day pretty faithfully (2 days on, one day off for recovery). It still works well for me. I started with 80 lbs resistance per side, now I'm up to 135 lbs resistance per side (so the pull down bar or double arm exercises are 270 lbs resistance). My weight has remained static, but I've lost an inch off my waist and my chest and arms are noticeably showing more muscle mass and definition. If anyone has suggestions for shredding the abs, let me know (I do ab raises with straps on my pull-up bar). Planks come to mind, but I'm not a big fan of them. What are you looking to accomplish with your workout, Nerve Damage? You mentioned surgery, so whatever you've had would likely affect what you are able to do, maybe Dumbbells or resistance bands would work for you. Men's Health magazine is a good source for workout ideas, they should have some things on their website as well.

Babs was a good coach who I think lost the room to an extent at the end of his stay. I don't think he is the be all, end all of coaching, but I am appreciative of what he did in Detroit, even if I don't agree with it all (like many others on the board).
