No offense but you have to be out of your mind to think this. The guy looks and plays scared all the time. The one thing I do notice with him is after he makes a terrible play ( which usually leads to a goal ) he usually plays very well for the rest of the game. Last night was an example of this. He was terrible early and then his game got better. E needs to take a seat in the press box and realize he isn't invincible.

Green was very good tonight and has been almost everynight, Problem is he is pretty much the only serviceable d man we have. DK is decent and I will give Sproul the benefit of the doubt because hes young but Kronwall, E and Marchenko are junk. Nyquist, Tatar and Larkin skate around alot but don't get much done. Vanek was pretty good tonight too. This team needs a trade and I'd be fine with about a 6 player deal. Change the culture of this team. It's so stale.

At the start of the year personally I felt we needed 100 goals out of Tatar, Larkin and Nyquist combined. At this point they are on pace for 45ish combined. Not good enough.

I wasn't talking about the goaltending. He overplayed the puck terribly tonight, that's obvious. It's his weak spot. He looks great on those horizontal until one gets deflected and then he's so far out of poisition it's comical.

It never gets to that point if they call the 3 hooking penalties prior to it.

I'm not one to complain about the refs usually but these guys are just ruining the quality of the game. The league really needs to sort this out.

Him and Sproul look great too bad they will be back in the minors so that Kronwall and his 11% knees can play.

Jimmy is healthy and playing great, we can't leave points out there, the race will be too close. Can't force Mrazek back in the net to try and get him going. Go with the hot hand.

Until this team starts to roster a lineup of the it's best players we will be more mediocre than we already are. #52 is a joke. Sproul deserves to be playing and some of these other ass hats on D need to take a spot in the press box. It's simple. Our D is just not good enough.

Exactly, we have too many of the same type of player on D. Prone to turnovers, bad passers, terrible defensive lapses. Some are worse than others but until we change the culture of this defense there will be good games and bad ones.

That's depressing. Green is the only d man on our team that should be out there 3 on 3. If he's not out there might as well put out 3 forwards.

Nice play DK, Larkin does all that work for him to make a horrible play. Heat up the Fowler rumors because our D is hot garbage.

We have had the puck between the hash marks in their end more in one period tonight than the previous two games combined. Get it to the net, good things happen.

I wish there was a white board on here so I could diagram the Wings offensive plan. SKate over the blue line and drive into the corner. Do a button hook. Make a flimsy pass. Turn it over and have to back check a 3 on 2 . Mrazek might have to 40 saves a game this year just to keep us in it. Does Z know the season has started?

We WILL be the worst defensive team in the league this year and we WILL lead the league in turnovers. If we choose to play this style of garbage hockey we will need to score 5 goals a game. -
