Here's my reaction to Samuelsson and Tootoo. Something has GOT to be brewing in the trade department. I don't think we'll land Parise (I will be stunned if we do) so we are going to need a top 6 Forward. I am wondering if a Nash or Ryan trade is in the works. I still think we get Suter. No I still think were in for Suter. Parise my guess is yes unless Kenny has a major deal on the horizon. -

From what I have read it seems like everyone's meeting got cancelled. 20 teams asked to meet with him. So I don't know what to make of it.

Assuming this is true I'd say forget it and try to sign Doen, Semin or trade for Nash or Ryan.

Good! I am not losing sleep over this one. I would have gone postal if he signed with the Wings. -
In my mind this will be a make or break year for him. We have significant needs which IMO are 1. A Top-4 D-Man 2. A Top 6 Forward 3. A #2 Goalie 4. More Size and toughness. He needs to have a good off-season for him to cement his legacy for now.

Good signing! Especially since we didn't have to give up a lot of assets plus it is at a reasonable cost monetary wise. Didn't Huet (Chicago Goaltender) was also deported to the Swiss League after the horrible contract Chicago gave him? -
Edmonton is a joke. It is going to take many years for them to turnaround. I would be stunned to see any of prospects stay when their rookie contracts are up.
