It is a interesting time. With the AHL in trouble, I wondering how many teams are forced to play players they wouldn't of in years passed. All ready seeing a bunch of buyouts from around the league.

I would like to have Kane or Simmonds. I'd really like to have Simmonds on a one year deal. Flip him at the deadline for a pick, seems like he's always an easy move. Gives us some toughness in the meantime.

As for Berggren, I kind of feel like he compares to Victor Olofsson. How far off bases am I?

It's a good move, clearing out the old culture and making room for the new. I liked Abs, great hometown kid story. Time to close that book and move on to another.

I am a fan of Markstrom, but I don't feel like it's the right fit here, I highly doubt he wants to carry another rebuild on his back. Greiss in my opinion is the perfect goalie for us right now. Still hoping we draft Askarov, in my opinion is the clear 2nd best player in this draft. Maybe the best player from this draft when it's all said and done. Everyone hates how we have zero elite or game breaking talent. Askarov that if you ask me. Off the board maybe, but I'd like to see Wayne Simmonds here on a 1 year deal as well. I could see trading him at the deadline, but give us some much needed toughness in the mean time. As for Krug, it really depends on the contract if I'll love it or hate it. Gonna hate it if is more than 3 years. My highly unlikely dream move is we send a offer sheet to Sergachev.

Wow.. The crap that has been in some of theses threads as of late, makes me sad I can't thumbs down people.

I am good with any of Askarov, Drydale, Perfetti, Rossi in that order more or less. I think I said something along the lines at the start of the season, if we don't get Lafreniere or Byfield I wanted Askarov at 3 or 4th spot. Still feel the same today. We are going to suck for a while, may as well try to fix one hole in our prospect pool. Askarov gives as elite prospect goalie in my opinion. Hopefully one less thing to worry about 2-4 seasons from now. Good chance we are picking bottom 5 for 3-4 more seasons without any game breaking talent, I don't see that in anyone outside of Lafreniere in this this draft. Dysdale, my knee jerk reaction after over looking Jack Hughes. I read names like Makar and smaller version of Carlson when reading about Dysdale. Guessing them are high hopes, but it would suck to miss out on another really good D. Perfetti and Rossi would be my "meh" pick. Good with whatever one Y think is best for us. I truly think if Askarov Canadian people would be saying he's top 3 easily in this draft.

Well, if you dig enough you can find discords that help stroke your junk.

I am more or less a long time lurker, but forums like theses are becoming a thing of the past. I lurk on the discord as well. With Reddit, Discord and social media in general, it's hard for old forums like this site to grab new fans. Discord is my go-to personally for a bunch of stuff, hockey or whatever.
