I think Sundqvist is a RFA, could be wrong. I agree, he would be a pretty nice to get.

I think we are due for another bottom 4-7 year. So yea I wouldn't mind. But only on a 1 year deal. Datz will bring more people to LCA as well, which is really needed. I for one, would go to at least more one game to see Datz play again. I am not bent on how he left like many are. Life happens, things change, not like he cost us a Cup or he joined TOR. If he going to come back to the NHL, it may as well be in a Red Wing jersey. I would rather see him in the KHL than join another NHL team outside of the Red Wings. Not going to lie, I would love to see Datz and Panarin on the same line. Wishful thinking.

I wonder if Draper will end up being a GM somewhere. 2 Years ago before Yzerman step down from being GM in TBL. I was fairly sure, Draper was on track of taking over. I just couldn't see Yzerman leaving TBL at the time.

Yeah I agree. 22 years is such a long time, even if he was a major part of Yzerman taking over, like the Wings are playing it out to be. No way it's doesn't effect him in some way. This was right after. He appears to be more up beat, I think?

Anyone have a quick run down on Yzerman history in TBL? In terms of significant draft picks, trading, UFA and RFA signings. Along with any unfavorable moves or picks he has made? Maybe should of made another topic for something like that.
