This team needed 1 win in 2 games to get into the playoffs. I guess they really wanted to go golfing, but damn Sens are owning the Bruins, so they'll have to play 4 more games. Embarrassing, one of the worst Red Wings season I've seen. Just hope that Blashill and Holland will make some conclusions after this season, because I don't hope for anything in the postseason

Kadri 4 game suspension for cross checking Glendening
Bolgar replied to RedWingsRox's topic in General
Hope he gets a couple of games. I waited for someone to retaliate in some way, and there was a moment on a PK when Abby wanted to smash the scum along the boards but missed. -
Mantha with 3+1 in win against Milwaukee, and has the same G+A in 44 games this season, as in 62 previous season.

I'd like to have Scott in the same line with Kessel

Typical Mike Babcock lines

The best memories I have about Couture is Dats' birthday gift for him.

Lucic is a moron, and I wouldn't want him anywhere near the Wings - even as a janitor on JLA.

Guess Franson and Ehrhoff really outpriced themselves

What's to stop Brian McGrattan....ehhh, doing it wrong:(

Damn you Holland, now the Ducks are destined for the Cup.

injured Erik Cole out for season, playoffs due to spinal cord contusion
Bolgar replied to ShereKhan's topic in General
Bummer. But if I recall correctly, that means that we get 3rd round pick from DAL? -
:)On this photo Helm looks like he is yawning

Glad for Weiss. When he was sent down to Griffins and then left the game with the injury I almost lost hope for him. Glad he made it. Now lets hope that he'll be healthy for the rest of his contract

Heatley? You mean Dany Heatley? You mean the guy that has played a hell of a 4 games this season and has scored a whole lot of zero points?
-
He'll clear. He did nothing while being in the NHL, no one will be interested in him.

Kronwall's goal against the Devils immediately came to mind

Or he could be yet another prospect who didn't live up to his potential. For me it's strange why people still discussing this trade. Anyone believes Jarnkrok could be in the roster this season should this trade not be made? Anyone believes the Wings would make it to the playoffs with Andersson as 1C? We got veteran center whom we needed much for a prospect who may or may not be good. As someone already have mentioned, some people were mad when we traded Matthias for Bert, raging about the loss of future top notch power forward. Need I to bring up Matthias success after that trade? Prospects are always hit or miss, anyone remembres Angelo Esposito, yet another "The Next One"? Hell, even we had a guy that everyone thought would be top line forward - Grigorenko, but he barely played in the US (I will not start discussion about the reasons of this, he could overcome his injuries and became one of the top forwards in the KHL). So until Calle plays at least one full season in the NHL, I will not say that we were f..d up on that trade. Also, it's strange that people are ready to give excuses to Jarnkrok, but were willing to kick Smith out of the team, when he was in approximately same situation

Like Ericsson's reaction after the hit, he was going to bury that POS Nolan.

slava voynov suspended after domestic violence arrest
Bolgar replied to jimmyemeryhunter's topic in General
I wouldn't call for Voynov's head until everything is revealed - just a year ago similar situation with Varlamov happened - and you remember how it turned out. -
Yeah, right. Because regular season is 3 games long.

McGrattan and score goals?? Seriously? The guy has 300+ games in the NHL and freaking 10 (ten) goals. That's what - 1 goal in 30 games. Goons like him don't belong to NHL anymore. Hell, Tie Domi has 100+ goals in 1000+ games - 3 more per game, and he never was accounted as goal scoring toughguy Edit. 3 times more of course Edit 2. And having a tough guy in the opposition team never stopped Cooke from headhunting on Savard, or Pronger from trying to knee Stevie, or Stevens crushing Lindros et cetera.
