If Glenny can develop some hands (please, please please!!!!!!) I think he could be a solid choice for a letter.

Green isn't worth any of those four with his injury history in recent years. I'll be curious what offers are rumored in the couple months.

If MDZ's ceiling is as high as Smith's I wouldn't be opposed. Pair him with DK and put Q on the 3rd with E. Q and E would be a nasty 3rd pair.

Actually we beat Boston in the regular season series, when healthy...soooooo..... While we may not be a great team, we were MUCH better when healthy.

I would want Yandle or Boychuk at this point. So I'm pretty much a sad panda....

I don't feel he's reliable enough with his health. Skill-wise I have no complaints of his play this year, but Mrazek has been fantastic in both skill and health all season. I wouldn't complain if we brought him back cheap like you say, because we will still have Mrazek waiting in the wings to call up when he strains his groin again...

I agree with newfy. Let DD play with Big Rig and put Quincy down with one of the other two. I think Smith gains confidence playing with a guy like Kronner, or maybe he just isn't worried about his partner screwing things up.

I think Franzen has been pretty good for most of the year. He's been hitting and shooting and playing a good game. He has an A now for a reason. I think he's stepped up well. If he played like this with Z and Pav, it would be amazing to see.

ESPN says we are probably out of the running for Vanek and Moulson due to them both being rentals. Burnside says we are most interested in a depth player for defense. He does says, that we will be closely watching Ryan Kesler before Wednesday and if the price is right we might try and swing that trade. So, what do we think? Do we even want Kesler? I have mixed feelings. I've been reading about him and his past and I've see him play enough. As a player, he can be a flopper, yet can be explosive. He seems like a prima donna. I just don't know. His skills could be off the charts, and Babs wouldn't put up with much of that kind of attitude would he? What are our thoughts on this?

I hate the idea of giving up Jurco for any of those guys at this point. Maybe Ehrhoff... I'm not good with giving up Nyquist of Tatar either...

I went to the Griffin's game this last Saturday, and all I can say is that Almquist didn't stand out in any way. He's small, not very good defensively and didn't even register a shot I don't think. Obviously, without seeing Backman play, I can't say if I think he'd be better, but Almquist just didn't impress.

I will admit the compete part of Mantha's game scares me, but he can score. I guess I feel similar in that if he has a couple years with the Wings he will have that level instilled in him. I really want him to be a key on this team for years, so I hope he gets a lot of time just talking to Hank and Pav before they are gone.

The not being good defensively makes me nervous that it will take him years to get up on the Wings. Babs has a thing for responsible two-way players.

If he dropped his NMC, and Cleary followed him, it would be GREAT!

Mick doesn't travel because his diet requires gluten free food. At least that's what he said last year. He talked about it a lot. Edit: Would anyone like to see Drapes give it a shot? He seems more personable than Ozzie.
