Pretty sure jurco glendening Franzen datsyuk zetterberg sheahan are capable of killing penalties and all 4 lines would be a threat to score at all times How would Franzen get mauled ? Didn't we draft him to be a checking player? All he has to do is play 2 way hockey and with his shot he'd be able to score at any time ... Jurco hits and is a 2 way player as well and glendening obviously does the same

He's 22 and it's normal he will have a few hiccups but he'll have way many better performances than bad ones ... A few of monsters goals he let in today were embarrassing Mrazek is the future ... Gus will be in Sweden in a few years

I was actually thinking the other way around Since zidlicky is 38 he would probably accept a one year deal where as Erik cole might try and push his luck in free agency and try and get a 3yr term and with his age and back problem history I'd personally be more comfortable with 1 yr deals with him as well but I don't see it happening

I understand what your saying kip but I'm looking ahead to the playoffs and how a guy like him on the bottom lines could really provide us with some much needed offence in key moments Your right he hasn't done much but in stats but he has had chances and guys like jurco and even zetterberg I believe went on 10-20 games stretches with no goals (not comparing him to zetterberg for one second just giving an example) Again get what your saying I was thinking of the bigger picture in the playoffs where every goal you can get is valuable and having a guy like pulkkinen could rather help

He could of been a valuable asset to us come the playoffs on a bottom 6 line with his shot ... Not saying he'd get a dozen goals but could of provided us with offence in key moments I know he will/should be with us fulltime next year but I'd rather he play the rest of the way Oh well ... We need something to get our offence going on a consistent basis , whether it be a trade or calling up pulkkinen and/or mantha down the line I was thinking with the kids we got coming ip maybe we could afford to use Tatar in a package type deal for evander kane? I know kane has some issues but maybe a change of scenery would do him good and I can see him on a line with datsyuk So ... Should we consider a trade?
