What. An. AWESOME. Experience! View from our seats was fantastic (upper 60s, kitty corner from end zone). Leafs fans were awesome, some good natured ribbing but overall a good feeling of camaraderie both days. Felt like crowd was pretty evenly split, though Leafs fans were louder. It was SO COLD and conditions on the ice were s***tastic, but everyone seemed like they were having a blast. Nothing to complain about for me as far as effort/gameplay, except the shootout has to go. Another overtime 5 of 3 on 3 would have been a far more satisfying end to the game. f*** getting out after the game, though. Didn't get home until almost midnight between traffic and s***ty roads. Also people had a hard time getting in and a lot arrived late. Worth every minute and frozen digit

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for torrents of both the WC and alumni game for posterity. And because I'm on tv. Now I must go to bed because I am exhausted and I don't want to go outside for 4 days or ever again. Looking forward to catching up on the forum and what everybody thought of the games!

Guys GUYS What an awesome game! Tears were shed, asses were frozen off, and a good time was had by all. I wept openly along with everyone else in my section when Vladdy came out. There were NO boos for Fed, and he got some of the biggest screams after Stevie and Lids. Stevie. What can I say? He looked so HAPPY. They kept showing him on the jumbotron during warm ups and he always had a s*** eating grin on his face. He is my Captain and will never be replaced. Sergei. I almost flung myself out of my seat. I would still marry him today if he asked he definitely looks like he could still play and still has that "specialness" that naturally talented people have. Everything combined to make it a perfect game but we all almost died from the nostalgia. It was a really special time to be a Wings fan, and I'm glad I got to experience it! Edit: and I rode the elevator with Ken Kal!

I really like Darren Elliot doing play by play. He seems more natural and comfortable than when he's doing intermission "look into a Teleprompter and talk to the camera"
