Ugh these 7:30 games kill me now that the time has changed--4:30 my time! Is it horrible that I left work early to get home in time for puck drop? Whatever. It blows my mind how hard Wings fans are on our players. Coming into the season, if you would have told me that Brunner would have done as well as he has and worked as hard on his game as he has I would have been ecstatic. He's got a great attitude, natural skill set, and a great work ethic. He will acclimate and we will see what type of player he will become, and my bet is that he will be a completely serviceable addition to this team. There are a lot of other players to look at on this team and point out how they're not pulling their weight or living up to expectations, and as far as I'm concerned Brunner is not one of these by a long shot.

Oh come on, dude. Both teams were playing a tight defensive game and not generating a lot of offense. I thought the Wings did a lot of good things today. Of course you're gonna find mistakes and miscues if you're looking for them, but I'm not gonna bite on the negativity here lately. I love my team, playoffs or not. LGW.

While there are no roster limits, I believe there are a limited number of call ups they can use (4?) unless there is an emergency such as a fear that they will not have enough roster players due to injury. I believe this goes away come playoff time?Edit: spanked by jeff!

Maybe I'm overly sensitive, but I've gotta tell you -- yotes fans are some of the most hockey ignorant fans in the sport. The s*** I heard out of people's mouths tonight stated as fact was mind blowing.
