Thank you. Needed to come into this thread for some positivity, because my head's telling me this is insurmountable. What a story for the season if they are able to steal this round back and go deeper. My heart never gives up on this team, and I hope they have the fight in them to not settle for rolling over and dying. Here's to tackling the rest of this series one game at a time. GO WINGS!

I agree with you, but can definitely see something...*off* with how he has been playing this series so far. I don't think he's been nearly as "brutal" (Jesus I had to type that six times to get it right) as some on here are saying he has been this series, but he's definitely having more brain farts since the playoffs started than he did during the regular season. He's been one of my favorite players this year, and I think he still has a lot to offer this team. I think all the calls to trade him are premature and reactionary, but can't help but wonder if he's playing hurt or if he has the yips. Again, not playing badly, just not necessarily playing up to the level I had become comfortable expecting him to play to.

"LET HE PAY IT ASS?" I know I've been drinking a lot tonight but . I don't have a cat or a wife but I'd slap them both at this point. I get all the calls for change and I agree that a big one needs to come if this team is going to stay relevant, but I don't agree with the clean house, scorched earth mentality. Flip has been nonexistant this series, but this series has only been 4 games. He was one of our most consistent players this season, strong on the puck and making smart plays even when he wasn't getting on the scoreboard. He made the people around him better and picked up the slack during the first part of the season when Z wasn't up to snuff. I don't know what crawled up his ass since the playoffs started, but I'd like to keep him around and see what he has to offer. I'm beyond frustrated with Franzen, and wouldn't have my feelings hurt if he got traded for an upgrade. So frustrating to know what he is capable of and just not see it. I hope they let Hudler walk, and think there is plenty of talent in GR to replace Emmerton. I love Homer, but I think it's time for him to hang it up. I hope Nicky comes back for another season, but am worried about how he's going to look at this injury and how it restricted his level of play. Hopefully Cleary can get healthy, love his heart. Helmer is a trooper, and brings a lot of fire to this team. All in all, I think there are some changes that can be made without gutting the team, but I will be disappointed if we stand pat and do nothing. Maybe just the Jameson talking, but I really hope I didn't just watch Lidstrom's last game at the Joe. Not quite ready to say goodbye to that era, I guess.

So disappointing. Really thought we were gonna pull off a good win tonight.
