We look like one of the weaker teams in the league so far. Disappointing start to the season. No urgency and getting outshot like every game. No puck possession. Hope they fix things soon.

I think Tatar could get better in the playoffs and is stronger on the puck. I like them both but I think Tatar has a better playoff style and that's what counts in my book. Then again, my book sucks.

Z in his prime and healthy I think was a better all around player than Toews will ever be. Now it's definitely Toews.

Well that was an awful signing.

He is always up for criticism when he gets a "King" nickname. He's basically another Luongo. Dude is solid but I would never categorize him in the Top 10 best goalies ever to play therefore he is no king to me until he starts putting up Roy,Hasek and Border playoff numbers.

I agree about Tampa and Yzerman. They got lucky to even get out of the 1st round against us. If we can make it to the playoffs 25 years in a row and hopefully become one of the better teams in the East and finally make some noise and go into a deep playoff run, I'll be ecstatic.

Better sign Cleary fast. That's how the Blackhawks keep winning.

I think he'll leave. I'd like to see a few fresh new faces and some shakeups so it doesn't bother me. If he leaves then I wish him luck with Buffalo. Thanks for the Cup but you're a bit overrated. I think he'd do well with the Sabres.

God I kinda miss playing these teams. Can't stand them both. I think the Ducks are due and I think they make the Cup and then lose out to the Rangers.

I hear ya about Joe but I feel like we have an endless amount of playmakers.

If possible I wouldn't mind Thornton, Phaneuf and a second pairing defenseman. I'm sure, with Thornton battling on the boards and giving some of our guys some on the money passes and Phaneuf with a more than decent shot out back, that we could generate a bit more grittiness and offense in a playoff series. I still think we need some sort of net crashing/goalie screening goal scorer. Joe has always been a setup guy.

I'd definitely like the following things: 1. Babcock moving on to a situation that fits him and the Red Wings better. I feel we had those Cups in 07, 09 and yes...even 2013 with just a little more urgency and fire we should've gotten it done. Not saying Babs was a bad coach but I just can't fathom how it's possible to constantly let teams back into a series we should've already won. Babs doesn't have a good track record in Game 7s. I'm not big on the adjustments he makes(or doesn't make) and I really feel he is a bit overrated. That being said, I believe he can flourish with the right group of players. Just not this group. 2. Cleary and Franzen need to retire. We would have no Cup since 02 if not for Franzen and Cleary was a solid role player but this isn't 08-09 anymore. Time to move on. 3. For the love of God get a real first pairing defenseman. A guy that can score and actually block shots is what I would love to see. 4. Please get a bona-fide scoring, front net presence. Dude that can crash the net. A good enough player that can allow us to drop Abby and Helm down a few lines where they truly belong.

Nothing I love more than seeing a team we had on the ropes and ready for a knockout, coming back, beating us in Game 7 and 1 win away from the Eastern Conference Finals.

They probably would've gotten swept away or maybe in 5. We don't match up well against Montreal. Price would've eaten most of the Wing's putrid shots all series long. No one would have watched the series by the time it got lopsided. 09 is sooo long ago. Please give me a new coach and rid me of the softer euro players we keep relying on. Doesn't cut it in today's NHL. Goodbye to those Scott Stevens/Nik Kronwall manly physical plays too. At least I can say I feel confident in the future at the goaltending position.
