Our defensive depth forwards have been awful but at least Glendening is now considered a top 6 power forward

I feel these last two games are the beginning of a long slump

4th line is worthless

4 blocked shots in an entire game is a pitiful job in our zone by forwards and defense.

Pretty much deserved to lose against the rags and we deserved to win this one. But geez was Kronwall terrible

Howard needs to face a lot of shots. He's just like Osgood was. If he's not busy he's not good

How do you get 4 blocked shots. Defense was completely awful. Kronwall the worst player on the ice from puck drop Kronwall is just our Phaneuf

What the hell has to happen to split up the top pair. E has had exactly one acceptable season for a top 4 defensemen in his career

I would experiment swapping Weiss and Glendening. Nothing good happens when Weiss is on your wing

The 2nd goal was off a Datsyuk turnover and then a great shot. Kronwall looked like a timid turd on the third goal and not only did he not play any defense but screened his own goaltender. I called goal about 5 seconds before Hudler walked directly into the slot and picked his spot gracefully When 55 is off his game he is the most frustrating player to watch. Usually isn't a one game thing either

3rd goal was embarrassing the other two happen over the course of a season... Our top line is raping them. Our bottom 6 is a detriment to our team

If only our #1 defensemen could play defense

I would trade Ericsson + for him and keep him at 7. It's a bad contract but so is Ericssons's. Leafs would never go for it

I think it's obvious Edzo does not like the Wings and Doc is just a creepy tool. NBC was drooling over the Rangers the whole game but that stuff doesn't bother me. It's annoying but whatever. When the wings score a huge goal it not only shuts up the other team but the commentators as well. Listen to the play by play when Datsyuk scored in game 1 of last years playoff series against Boston. Nothing but silence when your calling an un biased play by play of a huge and remarkable goal. That says it all

Sheahans line is consistently bad defensively. Can't read a play..... We're not pressuring their D at all for some reason and not reading plays they have all the time they want to find the wide open man
