Just returned from vacation to two new red wings and the return of our captain. Most anticipated game of the year

Howard has games where he absolutely won't allow his team to get a W no matter how great they play. One of our best games of the year. A game like this in the playoffs can kill us in a tight series

How many times has a goalie this year made zero saves in a shootout

Trade Howard for Yandle put Mrazek in net. At least we'll know where our weakness is. This team was built around Howard being an elite goaltender

Pulks has looked a lot better in this stint than his last at least. He's also playing a lot more with better line mates. Tatar wasn't setting the world on fire in his first few call ups either. He'll make an impact on this team

I noticed Jurco makes a lot of soft plays. When the puck goes up along the boards and he just stands behind an opposing player expecting the puck to luckily get behind him instead of engaging the player and battling for it

There is nothing wrong with slowing down for a shootout move imo the worst is the 360 backhand with their ass in the goalies face. This move is clearly against the rules of forward motion -

I actually don't mind Andersson but when he's bad he's really bad. 4th line/penalty killing as a group hasn't been good lately -

The kids are going through a lull and kronwall and Dekeseyer are our only defensemen that aren't crumbling. Nyquist, Sheahan and Tatar are hot garbage in their own zone and not looking strong offensively -
