Lines look good. That first line could really use Abby's tenacity hopefully it inspires Nyquist to be that puck hound he has been earlier in the season Yeah Pierre seeks to really respect the wings I have no problem with him he's just a huge dork

We already have a plethora of centers with Sheahan and maybe even Weiss on the verge of being a legit 2nd line center. Not to mention Datsyuk and Zetterberg. when dreaming up trades that I think are reasonable I always land on Pheonix being a good trading partner. Shane Doab would fit in nicely on the wing and only has one year left on his contract if I'm not mistaking. RH'd, big body, good shot, physical, great leader and would be one of our hardest workers

Yeah good trade. Adding a defensemen is tricky though. You never know how they'll be in a new system and with new teammates. That's why I've grown worrisome over adding a Myers or Bogosian type top 4. Could be a nightmare especially if we traded some quality assets. I'm hoping Weiss can take Cleary's spot on that third line soon. With Alfredsson officially not returning to the Wings maybe Holland is more inclined to make a trade at this point of the season. Trading for defense is expensive and risky and a good winger would be a big help

One way or another this team needs to find a level of consistency. There are so many ifs when making up lines you never know what you're going to get out of our players once the puck drops. I say we stabilize the top line and keep them together. At least we'll know we will have one dangerous line night in night out (hopefully) The rest, go with the hot hand. Right now Abby, Shehan and Tatar are playing great and can produce as a 2nd line. I'm sure that will change. 3rd line and Nyquist need a major spark. 4th line has had a bad few games maybe sit Andersson to get a spark out of them. Defense is always going to be a mess when Kronwall and Ericsson are playing like trash plus having Smith out. Just hope for the best with them Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Franzen Abdelkader-Sheahan-Tatar Nyquist-Helm-Jurco Cleary-Glendening-Miller

dekeseyer had a great game though he wasn't the problem on the PP. I think mostly our defense played pretty good our forwards were really bad and we had some bad luck on two goals

Sheahan would slide up. The best case scenario I can think of with Weiss is he can become an efficient 3rd line winger. I can't see him outplaying Sheahan to deserve 2nd/3rd line center duties

Tatar has broken up so many plays with his trash passing Damn that was close. Not our night but we should and could play way better

Datsyuk and Sheahan have been our only good forwards. I think the defense played well for the most part Zetterberg's goal scoring arsenal is bad angle shots
