Look around the league we're an average scoring team. We're a team rebuilding, there is going to be some holes We have a logjam of bottom 6 two way forwards. Helm is only filling this role until we can acquire a top 6 winger. I think defense is the bigger issue and a lot harder to acquire then a winger. A couple significant trades clears this problem up

I'm thinking we'll have to wait until the deadline for any moves. We need another Kronwall type d man, good on both ends of the ice but, we also need a scoring winger. That would make us a team that can compete. In a perfect world I see us making big moves at the deadline and signing Alfie for league minimum

Zetterberg has to step up and shoot. Our guys should want to step up and want to win it. We have a defeated attitude and an issue I think is all mental. Doesn't help that the coach brushes it off that it isn't important -

The God thing is it appears we're a fine line from being a great team. All these losses were close if this teams gets a little better offensively and defensively then we turn half those into wins at least. I just can't see a trade being made that makes sense for both teams so early in the season -

Ugh I hate all these loser points but they help. We took 5 penalties and turned the puck over a lot but still managed to get a point out of it. Just frustrating because Tampa played the night before -

Franzen has been a beast on both ends of the ice huge shot block Kindl has been a disaster today but he's been mostly solid this season. I see E turning it around lately -
