I never predict a loss. Tampa has won five straight coming off a big win last night and quick turnaround to Detroit. This could be a let down game for them. We've seen the wings play great hockey agaimst elite teams I believe they can beat anybody.

Our biggest need is defense. Stop looking at GAA and Goals for per game. There is a huge hole on defense that translates to inconsistency in all areas. Obviously a top 6 winger would help but it's nothing compared to the boost a top 4 offensive defensemen would bring to this team.

An almost pure offensive defensemen might be the shot in the arm our forwards need. Give them a more pressing and aggressive approach to their game. Our whole team is pretty much 2-way. Nobody with an offence first mentality. This roster has the tools to be scoring a lot more Guys like Smith making mistakes that are goals against is a lot harder to forgive on a count of him contributing 0 offence. Also, teams that have high goals for per game don't do it without major contributions from the blue line. It's just not possible
