Lashoff is going to blow this game if he keeps touching the puck. He throws an easy pass into smith legs for an awful turnover. The guy can't even make d to d passes

How are we dump and chase? You guys know Babcock has been our coach for 10 years right. We've always been a skilled team. Lineup decisions is what's wrong with this team. If we waived Lashoff he would never play another NHL game.

I have no problem with Helm as a winger on the 2nd or 3rd line. Realistically he has all the tools to do what Abby does he just can't for whatever reason. The real key is keeping Jurco and Sheahan as 3rd liners. Split up Z and D, put them back if our offense fizzles. We don't have the luxury of playing two elite centers on the same line

The defense is to blame. People don't realize how bad our transition game up ice is because it's been so garbage for so long. If we had better defensemen our forwards would score more goals. Plus, even terrible defensive teams get more scoring from their d men. I think Babs system is making our defense look good when it has been utter trash since Lidstrom left. Just look at our PP. Another huge, massive failure mostly from the defensive end. -

ericsson had an easy clear and found the only defensemen at the blue line anytime Lashoff is in the lineup our defense is a nightmare. What has this guy earned to be our go to 7th defensemen -
