I think Kindl is being shopped and getting looks through these first 20 or so games. Makes sense why Babs wouldn't want to discuss why Smith isn't getting any PP time. Also, Nestrasil is clearly being showcased for a trade or will be waived, but hey, "The best players will play."

Yeah it's a shame he was so tense and playing poorly when he finally got to play with datsyuk. He could have used that opportunity and ran with it

I don't think they're ready to be a consistent 2nd line scoring line against the good teams we've been playing. Good thing is they have been playing well for the most part just not going in. I feel they have mostly outplayed the other teams second line

Got to beat the lesser teams more consistently. Kids should try and pad their stats 4-1 PP gets one and Tatar gets deuces!

Part of those scoring chances were earned by Helm. If Helm just learns to play smarter and not try and hold onto the puck too long he'll be much better. I thought Kindl looked great too. An average offensive defensemen in the league is going to have a turnover or two against good teams every team has them and right now Kindl's good instincts offensively outweigh his odd turnovers. Smith could learn a thing or two offensively from Kindl tbh
