I'm getting so excited just think of the Red Wings with Kesler. Imagine in the playoffs sticking Kesler against their best player and letting Zetterberg and Datsyuk go off offensively Babcock could come up with some slick strategies -

3rd line center. Not bad we'll have a tonne of depth at center. Lots of experience on each line. I'm thinking Helm or Sheahan would have to be part of the deal -

Babcock's dream group of centers would probably be Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Kesler. You couldn't ask for 3 better centres to build your team around -

Kesler is much faster than Zetterberg I think out of our young forwards Tatar is the most expendable. We need Jurco's size and physicality, we need a future top 6 center in Sheahan, and with Nyquist already on the smaller side I don't think both in the top 6 is what we want -

They have quite a bit of assets to acquire him. Just a hunch but now am just realizing they're division opponents. I can just see him fitting in with that team -

Decent size, good skater, elite defense and can match the Euro twins offensive numbers. Seems like a guy Babcock would love. That's 3 elite two way forwards in our top 6 and Franzen is no slouch either -

Heads up!! Lol bench should have said something they all were looking at the play the whole time. Kesler had no idea. Does anyone know how Keslers NTC works? I'm sure we'd be on a list of 10 or so teams he would accept a trade too -

A veteran offensive D man to round out the top 4 is exactly what we need. I know his contract is long but imagine if We offer a bit more in return Buffalo eats 50 percent of the salary. He'd be worth 2.5M for the rest of that contract. -

He's put up #1 numbers not long ago. He's playing on a garbage team nobody is going to have good numbers coming from there. Look at the Bouwmeester situation, would you pass on him now? -

Erhoff was a #1 defensemen on a team that went to the finals and were the best team in the league not long ago -
I'd resign Quincey tbh. Still young, big and believe or not, he's physical. With inflation of salaries he's probably worth his salary right now. I believe if we as a team scored more than around 20th in the league you would see his numbers look a lot better Having said that we should give Buffalo what they want for Erhoff.

We could definitely swing that. Defensemen don't just fall from trees. Enough is enough gotta get someone while their available 1st+Smith+Pulkinnen these trades write themselves -
Blues are so stacked now. I just can't see them losing to anyone unless there's key injuries or players under perform drastically. I wouldn't be surprised if Miller plays outstanding runs away with Vezina and wins a Stanley Cup then signs huge contract elsewhere They have potentially 2 Norris finalists

Just hoping for major collapses from all the Stanley cup favourites. It will be a Red Wings vs Phoenix final I'm just upset. Playoffs are a different animal though. They struggled to score in the playoffs -
