Same was said last year. Canada didn't find there full gear last time except when they played Russia and they still won the tournament. They can play bad and still win this thing

No they're just bad at Defense I think they're both capable. I wouldn't count on getting 6 power plays in the medal rounds. Half our forwards could still finish the tournament without really getting it going and we'd still win gold just like last time

Russians don't play Defense and the US still needed like 6 power plays to get two goals in a game that they should have lost.

If we can flip Smith and Kindl for a real top 4 I'm for it. But who would want 2 bad defensemen for 1 good one makes no sense. I guess the deal would just be for some lame picks or something. There will be a log jam at Defense with players from GR deserving a shot I'd resign Quincey if he'd take a pay cut. I thought hamhuis was good. The Defense as a whole was good. It's hard to get a lot of scoring chances against a team that wasn't trying to win. They just were playing to keep the goals down. I think Canada was just trying to do all the right things and the score didn't matter to them. They could have been sailing the puck in as soon as they entered the blue line on a bad goalie and probably netted some more. They played a good structured game after the first period. Norway's second goal was pretty flukey on a bad play behind the net by Price

Did Datsyuk play this morning? Anybody watch? How did he look?
