Knew that would happen. DD a staple on the PP for some reason
-
Gotta admit panthers have a good forecheck.. I'm sure they'll slow down as the game goes on
-
Ice looks terrible
-
Our Defense is awful when they are getting hit
-
Man our Defense is awful
-
Somebody needs to send Babs a memo that the offensemen are better with the puck on the PP than our defensemen
-
Panthers are one of the best fore checking teams we've played
-
That should have been a goal
-
Can't Glendening play wing. I think Andersson is better suited as a center and luke reminds me of abdelkader could be a good first guy on the forecheck

Lol @ 5 mil for DD. 15+M for the worst top 3 in the NHL. DD deserves 2.5M a season but he has us by the balls sooo Holland really should pick up a top 4 defensemen somehow at the deadline to replace Quincey or we're going to overpay him or have a much worse Defense then this year
-
It's so funny that Holland believed Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Alfredsson and Kronwall wasn't enough veteran presence for this team
-
It will be interesting to see helm on the wing. I think we're a much better team when we use our speed. Like the way we win against the hawks, bruins and other top tier teams were always playing with a lot of speed

Trade deadline fast approaching - who should we target?

Canucks Defense, when healthy, is pretty good. What they desperately need is scoring. Unless they want to wait until the offseason and hope to sign a FA they have to trade some defensemen. Also their prospect pool is pretty shallow and ours is pretty deep. They may want some extra picks or good prospects to develop. Also I don't think Tortarella and Edler are on the same page and Torts isn't about to be let go already. Idk what it would take but I'd imagine Quincey + roster player forward + Pulkinnen and maybe a pick -

I still want Edler on this team I think he can be had w/o giving up Tatar or Nyquist -
I like how Weiss didn't use his injury as an excuse for his poor play. I almost expected him to lash out on Babcock when he was a regular 4th line center but he kept his mouth shut. I think the whole team knew he was playing with an injury then everyone realized he would need to have surgery because he wasn't cutting it

Well Miller has played a lot more games than Eaves. To me he looks like an offensive threat out there more so than Miller. I just think of his game against Chicago and to me I think he can put a playoff run together at that level. He has all the tools Why not keep both though?

This team needs a Chris Neil type. Then I would absolutely love our forward group -
It's almost a wash. Both good PKers but I'd give the edge to Miller. I don't know exact stats but Miller looks a bit heavier. Eaves is quicker, more offense and a right handed shot. I like both of them but I'd prefer Eaves to stay. Come playoff time I can see Eaves throwing his body around and being a force like he was against Chicago. Miller is safe and reliable but not a lot of edge

Ya I don't see the obsession with Callahan. The guy just had a two goal night to reach the coveted 10 goal mark -
I really like our forward group, especially if we can stay healthy. It's the Defense that I'm worried about and would like Holland to upgrade. Another vet could stabilize the bottom 4
-
This place has a blind faith in DD he can do no wrong and Quincey can't do anything right
-
Look at those minutes for Quincey. Babs likes this guy, be worried folks
-
That would have been ridiculous if it was only one
-
Predictable Too many men Detroit?
-
Ya but he didn't stick out his leg hard to avoid that
