DD is having a helluva game

DD was getting beat all period takes a penalty. PP goal was a tap in from a pass that went through both D men. A lot of blatant turnovers and awful play in the offensive zone. Minus the Tatar turnover our forwards have been solid. The D are just not contributing a thing not completely terrible they're just there

It's a strange thought here in Detroit but Defense can also contribute to offense.

Out forwards are fine even with the injuries. A little inexperienced in there own zone but our fully healthy Defense is garbage blowing games

I think it's safe to say nobody knows what is really going on. It's not ridiculous to think Pavel is saving himself for the Olympics or that the injuries are so severe that he really cannot play. I'm just speaking out of frustration that the Wings may not make the playoffs because of injuries

I'd rather one of our highest paid players help us make the playoffs than make sure he's in tip top shape for the Olympics Look at Zetterberg. This team would have completely fallen off the rails without him playing hurt

Yes. Getting any new exciting players that will help to make us a better team isn't going to happen unless we slowly draft and develop them, or if we decide to rebuild. After how these seasons have gone the past 5 years I would personally like to rebuild. -

With us being up against the cap and seemingly weak in every position I don't see how we could possibly make a move that makes us better at the deadline. I think it's finally time to start a real rebuild. Everybody but Zetterberg is on the table -
