Yeah he did. Just usually he is a decent penalty killer. Blocking shots and what not. We have plenty of good penalty killing grinders though just saying I see a bit more value out of Cleary than Bert.

Cleary is a decent PKer aside from that blunder on Sharp's PP goal but Bertuzzi is a liability on every area of the ice. Atleast Cleary's turn overs come in the offensive zone

Babs isn't as oblivious as I thought. Bertuzzi was the worst player on the ice against the Hawks and looked like a Beer leaguer on the first two Hawks goals. Next step is Cleary

I wouldn't give him all the credit of course we still had guys like Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Howard and Kronwall which is a very decent core and losing in the second round is not an amazing feat. Blowing a 3-1 series lead wasn't very good either. There was plenty of times late in games in the playoffs where Babs had the wrong guys on the ice against the top lines and it cost us. I just feel Babs relationship with the Wings is tired and stale and we need a refreshment. His gameplan is usually solid but the execution is not

Great back and forth game no team really dominated for a long stretch of the game. We really deserved the win. Every Chicago goal was a result of brain farts on our side For Gus's first game back I think he played pretty well. Looked pretty shakey but he was huge in the shoutout after giving up the first two. That save on Kane was huge it would have been game over

Yes he was really shakey but he made some key stops late in the third and then stopped the last 3 shooters in the shoot out so it made up for it in my opinion

Terrible turnover by Smith passed it right to a Hawk and he walked in and beat Gus. I think Smith was solid for the most part
