Have to admit I don't know anything about Jurco except that he is touted prospect. Some fresh young legs can't hurt

The game was up for grabs until Crosby scored with like 7 minutes left. I think the wings were the better team for the majority they just don't have any fire power or luck it seemed. That and special teams. Kill off one of those penalties or score on one of those power plays and it would be a totally different game

Smith was outstanding for his first few games back from injury. Since then he has regressed a bit but is still good and making great offensive plays. He is on the upswing. Why not reward him. Atleast put him and Kindl out there. Makes no sense

A guy like Dekeseyer coming in and outplaying everyone except 6+ year vets just shows how bad our defensive corpse is. DD is great but he is not a freak of nature, wings Defense is well below average. Stats are inflated by all the gifted defensive forwards and it's starting to catch up with them

Bert played better than last game, maybe he still has some value to this team and it was just rustiness. Never seen Jurco play before but this team needs some young blood. I would love to see a young defensemen inserted ya know I guess Babs thinks the Defense has been good enough.

I feel like Kronwall, Ericsson and Smith are the only defensemen worth a damn on this team. And each one should be on separate pairings that how bad our defensive depth is

Wings Defensemen are terrible. There should be one of Smith, Kindl and Quincey on a decent D lineup but not all of them playing at the same time night in and night out. It's starting to catch up they are well below an average nhl defensive corpse. Holland needs to make an upgrade because there is 3 defensemen in this lineup that could be part of a good team

This is a game where everybody played well but we simply didn't have the fire power to compete. Can't fault anyone aside from the Defense. They know they suck we've grown to accept it and still manage to win the odd game. Holland should watch other teams play and see how our defensive corps is miles below any playoff team.

I think the wings are playing great considering all the injuries just no puck luck. They're badly out shooting them and way better scoring chances. This is a winning effort
