I hate our Defense. Kindl looks like his career is going nowhere from this point. Smith and DD are the only guys with a sign of upside. Kronwall seems to be taking the last few weeks on auto pilot

Smith has been great since his return. Like really good. Just sucks because it seems whenever a player turns things around another players turns for the worst. Smith was our best defensemen last night. Kronwall and Ericsson haven't been good since E's return and Kindl and Quincey are always terrible

Lots of cheap stuff the refs lost control of this game. It happens, can't call everything when they're slashing every shift. The diving was probably out of frustration for getting hacked and held all night and not getting calls. Seems like zetterberg is allowed to be held and hooked because he's so good at protecting the puck with his body. Feel bad for the guy it looks like he takes a beating every shift

Ottawa was really holding and hooking all game long. I think by the end of it Wings were getting frustrated and felt they had to dive for the refs to notice. Felt like a playoff game. Sometimes Wings get away with playing soft but they are capable of being tough
